We provide Independent social work services and projects to support women and girls in rural communities in Nigeria to develop their financial independence, self-confidence skills and better academic achievement. Our services and Projects are designed to provide the relevant skills and knowledge that people need to succeed, and alleviate the impact of absolute poverty in their family.
Verachilly Women and Girl Child Community Development Project was founded in 2020 by Mrs Vera Nnadozie, the Director of Verachilly Consultancy Services Limited United Kingdom and Co-Founded with Mrs J.O. Abari. The Charity was subsequently registered in 2021 with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja Nigeria.
Verachilly Women and Girl-Child Community Development Project is non-governmental, not for profit, non-political, non-cultural Christian charity. We are a charity that is led by an experienced social work consultant who ensures that we promote anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive principles in our practice and charity activities. This means that we welcome all members of the public irrespective of their age, gender, religion, disability, and ethnic group etc.

Our mission is to create a safe community where every woman and the girl-child can reach their full potential in their local community in Nigeria.
We will achieve this mission through the provision of targeted projects to ensure that our assessed needs of women and girls in their rural communities are met within a stipulated timescale. We work closes with our volunteers in different parts of Nigeria to ensure that we are able to reach out to diverse part of the communities.

Mrs Vera Chinelo Nnadozie is the CEO of Vera Chilly Consultancy Services Limited United Kingdom, a Social Enterprise trading as Vera Chilly Social Care. Vera is a Child Protection and Adult Safeguarding Consultant Social Worker in United Kingdom. She is also a Life Skills Coach with an interest in supporting women and girls to develop their emotional intelligence and self-confidence. According to Vera, she has been providing support to women and girls long before she founded the charity due to her passion to serve humanity which also led to her career in social work.
Vera Nnadozie has worked with Children and Families for over a decade and has relevant academic background to lead the charity successfully. Vera has an MSc in Child Protection and Adult Safeguarding from Buckingham New University, a BSc in Social Work from University of Bedfordshire, a Best Interest Assessor qualification from Birmingham City University, a BSc in Public Administration from University of Jos Nigeria and a Diploma in Social Work for Development from University of Jos Nigeria. She is a Social Work Practice Educator and mentor. She is currently a PhD research student.

Mrs J. O. Abari is the Co-Founder of the charity. Mrs Abari holds a B.A in Theatre Arts from University of Jos Nigeria and has been a driving force behind Vera’s academic career in social work. Mrs Abari has made tremendous financial contributions towards Vera’s life especially the actualisation of setting up the charity foundation. Mrs Abari and Mrs Nnadozie shares similar passion in making a contribution to the financial growth of women in rural communities in Nigeria and most importantly the education of the Girl-Child. Mrs Abari is also the registered secretary of the charity and works closely with the administrative team to ensure the smooth running of the charity projects and their online community.
